Chicago Pride Parade

A few weekends ago we made a last minute decision to visit Chicago for the Pride Parade! It was also coincidentally a weekend that Justin’s dad was in the city for a high school reunion, so we got to see Papa Steve. We also met up with Justin’s cousins Ben & Arielle and Lily & Zach. Julian got to spend time with his cousin-once-removed (or second cousin?) Leni, who is really close in age. He also went on his first train (el) ride – he loves trains and all moving vehicles, so that was pretty cool. And the parade was a lot of fun! It was an exhausting day for an almost two-year-old, thus the last picture when Julian fell asleep the second we got in the car to drive home 🙂
